Shortly after the release of the Nintendo Wii
the video game systems were flying off the shelves. The Shopping Mall's and Electrical retail shops were jam packed full of eager gamers trying to buy the Video Game System.

Although the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 are popular, without a shadow of doubt, the most popular choice of games console by gamers is the Wii. So, what makes it the most popular of the consoles?

In some countries, it has always out sold the other game systems. A survey concluded that it tends to appeal to gamers because of the game topics that are interesting to gamers and none gamers alike. The new interactive games are a success because they are attractive to everyone from ages 4 to 104!

The features of the Nintendo Wii are absoloutely mind blowing. It has a new remote sensing technology, which means that when playing a game, (golf for instance) you can actually take your best "Tiger Woods" swing at the ball. This technology is a hit with people that have never played on a Video Games System before as well as seasoned gamers. Recent polls have come up with the facts that the console is proving popular with women and older generation players that have never attempted gaming before.

Another popular feature of the Wii system are it's sports game bundles. Recently, they have become more and more popular and they have become even more popular than the adventure games.On offer are terrific, quality, realistic games that are fun to play, including, golf, baseball and tennis. This is a great leap forward for the world's gamers, blowing the old games and systems out of the water.

It's hard to say which of the Video Games Systems is the most popular between the Nintendo-Wii, Sony PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360. Some sources believe that the Sony PlayStation 3 is actually the best seller, although it is a difficult one to call.The new interactive features of the Wii are a massive plus for gamers that are always looking for something new for a better gaming experience.

The release of the Nintendo Wii revolutionised the market more than any other product. Everyone believed that the original Sony Playstation was the best thing to happen on the gaming scene.Then came the Microsoft Xbox, which gave Playstation a real run for its money. You can actually gain a valuable workout while playing a video game! The Remote has made game consoles exciting for everyone, even people that previously had no interest in game consoles.

The highly competitive price combined with the terrific Wii Remote and ease of use has lead to incredible demand for the Nintendo Wii Video Game System. It has been so popular that stocks have been sold out. This Video Game System will be difficult to get hold of this Christmas, if you see one for sale BUY IT! You may not get the opportunity again before Christmas!

Sony PlayStation 3-The Best Video Game System Ever?

Quite a few critics have said that the PS3 is very highly priced compared to other available Video Games Systems. A few are blown away by the specification of the Sony PlayStation 3. What I and quite a few others thought, well before it was launched, was that it would take some beating and I still believe this to be so! The PlayStation 3 has changed the way the home entertainment and gaming world used to be! Full of features that none of the other consoles have, it really is, despite the high price tag, a must have if you have the cash to spare.

This console is a fantastic system and the hardcore gamers out there will be more than pleased with it.The Ps3 also has the latest in DVD technology, Blu- Ray,which, at the time of writing this review, makes the Sony PlayStation 3 the cheapest Blu-Ray DVD player on the market! Blu-Ray technology gives very high quality, high definition playback, which Sony hopes, will be the standard choice in the future for all DVD production. Don't worry about your old DVD collection because it will also play standard DVD's! The possibilities that Blu-Ray technology offers compared to standard DVD's are exciting to say the least.

The Sony PlayStation 3 has a processer that gives a smoother gaming experience, due to a Cell Broadband processor that wipes the floor with the old single core processor! This, together with the ability of the Blu-Ray discs to store more information for High Definition gaming,allows for gameplay never experienced before!

It also comes with a hard drive as standard.It was launched with two options, a 20GB and a 60GB both removable for easy upgrade and now there is an 80GB version. This has made the Sony PlayStation 3 more accessible, as the 20GB could be purchased at a lower cost and then upgraded later.

The console is also backwards compatible with Ps1 and Ps2 games, enabling the user to play their old favorite games rather than keep their old consoles to play them on.
Sony have plans to utilise the Sony PSP Handheld System with the PlayStation 3, on one or two of the new racing games it can already be used as a rear view mirror!
Gamers that are looking for better quality graphics and sound will not be disappointed. The hardcore gamers will love it for its gaming potential, its ingenuity and its sophistication.

The Sony PlayStation 3 can also be connected, wirelessly or hard wired, to the internet. This is great for dowloading the latest updates and game demo's. Full games can also be downloaded from the Playstation Store.There are also Online Multiplayer Games, of which my own personal favorite is Motorstorm, where you can,with a microphone or Bluetooth handsfree headset connected, communicate with other players while racing!

In my opinion, it is the console to buy, even if it is a little pricey it's well worth it!
